My interest in Massage Therapy and Reiki began in the 1990s with the study and practice of Qigong—a Chinese system of movement, massage, meditation, and breathing for improved health and wellbeing. My interest in meditation, combined with a strong desire to heal my body, mind, and emotions, led me to complete a traditional three-year retreat in the Drikung Kagyü Lineage at the Garchen Buddhist Institute, a Tibetan meditation center in Chino Valley, Arizona, where I lived and worked from 2003-2008.
Shortly after retreat, I finished a bachelor’s in Humanities with an emphasis in Tibetan Buddhist Studies from Prescott College in 2009. I went on to graduate with a master’s in Art Education from Indiana University in 2016. Following the birth of my first child, I felt it was finally time to pursue my passion for holistic health and wellness, and I enrolled in Indiana Therapeutic Massage School in 2016. I earned my Reiki Master/Teacher Certification from Christine Eartheart that same year and began my practice as a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2017.
I have been drawn to energy work since I can remember. Putting my hands on others with the intent to facilitate healing has always come naturally to me. I was told at a young age not to mess around with things I didn’t understand. I took it to heart and made it my mission to fully grasp what was naturally happening with my healing hands, which seemed to just turn on whenever I was around someone who was in pain. After more than 25 years of study and practice, I now enjoy sharing and teaching Reiki to others.
As an intuitive healer, I always call upon the Reiki energy, angels, ascended masters, spirit guides, and teachers, who sometimes pop in with messages for you during a session. I focus my intention on your healing, your highest good, and the greater good of all beings. I work with my healing team to channel universal energy to wherever your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies need it most. Reiki goes where it is needed; all you need to do is be open to receiving it. Clients can feel the difference in my hands, and the results speak for themselves.
My goal is to put pain relief back where it belongs—into your own hands. My passion is empowering you to heal yourself naturally. Be on the lookout for upcoming Self-care Classes!
